Our old english self binding gravel is varied in size, which allows it to be compacted firmly and resist displacement when trod upon. Predominantly light golden brown in colour, the old english self binding gravel makes pathways, borders, or cycle tracks look more natural – blending in with the outdoors.

Please note that our self binding gravel should be laid moist in layers, using a vibrating roller, in order to create a firm and flat surface. It is also recommended that when used for paths or borders that the gravel is laid at a depth of 50mm.
The gravel must also be laid on a suitable compacted sub-base and on a slight camber to allow water to disperse, as poor drainage can damage the surface.
